Blepharitis

Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids caused by excessive proliferation of bacteria which is normally present on the skin. Another reason leading to inflammation is the blockage of the eyelids due to sebaceous glands and even allergies. In such cases eyelid redness or itching may occur. And sometimes it can also cause swelling of the eyelids. Blepharitis bacteria can not eliminated completely however it can be controlled.

Thyroid disease

Overactive or work under the normal course of thyroid glands is among the causes of eyelash loss. In overactive thyroid the body can not tolerate the excessive heat and sleep difficulties, weight loss, lower inflatable neck and headache occurs.

On the other hand in inactive thyroid symptoms such as weakness against cold, dry skin, constipation and weight gain are seen.

Chemotherapy
